The Founders
With more than 30 years of collective expertise in hospitality and wellness, founders Shelby Fahrni and Isai Xolalpa opened Temazkai in Fishtown in early 2026—a thoughtful fusion of Isai’s Aztec heritage and Shelby’s devotion to holistic health and women’s wellness. Their vision extends beyond the ritual itself: to cultivate a sanctuary of stillness in the city, a place where community gathers, energy renews, and ancient practice meets modern intention.
